The Fifth Circuit has centralized scheduling which is based out of the Court Administration Office, 2^nd floor of the Brown County Courthouse, 101 SE 1^st Avenue, Aberdeen, SD  57401.  Carla McBurney is our scheduling clerk for the entire circuit.  She does 80-90 percent of all the scheduling in the Fifth Circuit, which includes all court and jury trials and video conferences circuit-wide, and all circuit trials and hearings in Brown County.  Our in-state toll free number is 877-999-5613 and our local phone number is 605-626-2450.  The Clerks’ office in Brown County schedules all magistrate court hearings and trials, and their phone number is 605-626-2451. 

All magistrate court and circuit hearings scheduled in the counties outside of Brown are scheduled on their motion days and it’s done through the respective Clerk of Courts offices in each of those nine counties (see our Motion Day Calendar
