2025 State of the Judiciary Message Posted on UJS Website
PIERRE, S.D.—On Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, South Dakota Supreme Court Chief Justice Steven R. Jensen delivered the 2025 State of the Judiciary.
Chief Justice Jensen discussed the importance of public trust, access to the courts, indigent criminal defense, civil access to the courts, probation and pretrial services, treatment courts, and courthouse and judicial security.
