Beadle, Brookings County Drug & DUI Courts to Hold Alumni Days
PIERRE, S.D.—The Beadle County Drug & DUI Court and Brookings County Drug & DUI Court teams invite the public to attend alumni day recovery celebrations for their program participants.
- Beadle County Drug & DUI Court Alumni Day: Wednesday, May 29, 2024, 2 p.m. CDT, in the third-floor courtroom of the Beadle County Courthouse, 450 Third St. SW, Huron
- Brookings County Drug & DUI Court Alumni Day: Thursday, May 30, 2024, 10 a.m. CDT, in the third-floor courtroom of the Brookings County Courthouse, 314 Sixth Ave., Suite 6, Brookings
Both alumni days will include an informative panel of program graduates, and light receptions will follow.
As part of National Treatment Court Month, these uplifting events will recognize individuals whose lives have been transformed by the treatment and support provided by these programs. Rather than continuing the revolving door of addiction and related crime, treatment courts lead people with substance use and mental health disorders out of the justice system and into lives of recovery, stability and health.
