Court Appointed Defense Attorney Directory

As mandated in §SDCL 23A-40-21, each court-appointed defense attorney shall receive training on available mental health services, eligibility criteria and referral processes, and forensic evaluations. Upon completion of the training, the attorney's name is added to the list of certified court-appointed defense attorneys. The training can be completed at UJSMIL.SD.GOV (direct link found below in Find Other Resources & Contacts).
