Commission on Parenting Time Guidelines to Meet on January 30
PIERRE, S.D.—The South Dakota Supreme Court’s Commission on Parenting Time Guidelines will meet on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, 3-3:30 p.m. CST virtually via Zoom. View the agenda.

The agenda includes a review of proposed amendments to the Commission’s recommended changes to the Parenting Time Guidelines and time for public comment.
The Commission on Parenting Time Guidelines convenes every four years to review the Parenting Time Guidelines and submits a report and any recommendations to the Supreme Court, Governor and Legislature. View the Commission’s 2025 final report and recommended guidelines here.
The Commission on Parenting Time Guidelines was created in 2020 and includes a circuit court judge, family law attorney, childhood development professional, non-custodial parent, custodial parent, state representative and state senator.
