Court Service Officers, Parole Agents and Juvenile Corrections Agents Week 2025
Thank you to South Dakota's Court Services Officers, Parole Agents and Juvenile Corrections Agents for serving as a true force for positive change in offenders and their communities.
Gov. Larry Rhoden has proclaimed the week of July 21, 2025, as Court Service Officers, Parole Agents and Juvenile Corrections Agents Week in South Dakota.
Community corrections professionals such as Court Services Officers, Parole Agents and Juvenile Corrections Agents are an essential part of the justice system. They utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement case management plans for supervising adult and juvenile offenders on probation, parole and aftercare in our communities.
These trained professionals work in partnership with community agencies and groups to provide referrals to services that assist in prevention, intervention and advocacy. Additionally, they provide services, support and protection to victims of crime.
Court Services Officers, Parole Agents and Juvenile Corrections Agents serve as a true force for positive change in offenders and their communities.
