Flags at Half-Staff at State Capitol in Honor of Former State Supreme Court Justice Robert Amundson

PIERRE, S.D.— Gov. Kristi Noem has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol from sunrise until sunset on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, in honor of former South Dakota Supreme Court Justice Robert (Bob) Amundson. Justice Amundson served on the South Dakota Supreme Court from 1991 to 2002. 

A funeral service for Justice Amundson will be held on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, 2 p.m., at First Lutheran Church, 327 S. Dakota Avenue, Sioux Falls. Justice Amundson, 86, died on Dec. 11, 2024, in Sioux Falls.
