Juvenile Justice Oversight Council to Meet on December 12

PIERRE, S.D.—The South Dakota Juvenile Justice Oversight Council will meet on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, 10-11 a.m. CST virtually via Zoom. 

The agenda includes Juvenile Justice Oversight Council annual reports from the Unified Judicial System, Department of Social Services and Department of Corrections, a discussion and time for public comment.

The Juvenile Justice Oversight Council was created in 2015 for the purpose of providing an independent review of the state juvenile justice system and providing recommendations to the Legislature, Governor and Chief Justice.
