South Dakota Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Commission to Hold Meeting on December 17
PIERRE, S.D.—The South Dakota Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Commission will hold a meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, 1:30-4:30 p.m. CST virtually via Microsoft Teams.

The Commission will review open meeting laws, hear updates from the state administered CASA Association, hear updates from East Central CASA and Seventh Circuit CASA, review and discuss grant applications for new programs for Fifth Circuit CASA and Sixth Circuit CASA, and review and discuss grant applications for expansion programs for Southeast CASA.

The South Dakota CASA State Administered Organization, in collaboration with the National CASA Association and the South Dakota Unified Judicial System’ State Court Administrator's Office, is committed to providing leadership, support and encouragement to the state's CASA programs that provide a service to the court that oversees child abuse and neglect cases and to the children involved in the court proceedings.
