South Dakota Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Commission to Meet on January 9

PIERRE, S.D.—The South Dakota Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Commission will meet virtually via Microsoft Teams on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, at noon to 12:30 p.m. CST.

The Commission will review Southeast CASA’s program budget, set a date for the CASA Commission annual meeting and take public comment.

The South Dakota CASA State Administered Organization, in collaboration with the National CASA Association and the South Dakota Unified Judicial System’ State Court Administrator's Office, is committed to providing leadership, support and encouragement to the state's CASA programs that provide a service to the court that oversees child abuse and neglect cases and to the children involved in the court proceedings. 

Individuals requiring assistance should contact the State Court Administrator’s Office at 605-773-3474, at least 48 hours before convening, to make any arrangements.
