South Dakota Drug Court Advisory Council to Meet on October 14

PIERRE, S.D.—The South Dakota Drug Court Advisory Council will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, 10-11:30 a.m. CDT virtually via Zoom. 

The agenda includes a presentation and discussion about steering committees and advisory boards, a discussion about a court rule on oversight of states attorney on entrance into treatment court, an update on a System and Community Interventions to Prevent Incarceration and Reduce Stigma (SCIPIRS) grant in Sioux Falls, an update on recidivism, and upcoming training and outreach.

The South Dakota Drug Court Advisory Council addresses the operational, coordination, resource, information management and evaluation needs of the state’s treatment courts.
