South Dakota Supreme Court March 2023 Term of Court to be Held at South Dakota State University
Chief Justice Steven R. Jensen of the South Dakota Supreme Court has announced that the Supreme Court will hold its March 2023 Term of Court at South Dakota State University. The Court will hear oral arguments in four cases on both March 22nd and 23rd. The schedule of arguments is as follows with a 10-minute break between sessions:

- 9:45 A.M. State v. Foshay
- 10:30 A.M. Bracken v. DLR
- 11:15 A.M. Estate of Beadle
Thursday, March 23, 2023
- 9:00 A.M. State v. Smith
- 9:45 A.M. Estate of Simon
- 10:30 A.M. State v. Banks
- 11:15 A.M. Implicated Individual
The sessions will be held in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center, 1601 University Boulevard, Brookings, South Dakota.
Booklets containing a schedule of the cases to be heard and a short synopsis of each case, as well as biographical information on the Justices and a short summary of appellate procedure are available on the UJS website and will also be made available for those attending in-person.
Chief Justice Jensen extends a special invitation to the residents of Brookings and area communities to attend any of the Court's sessions.
