Commission on Equal Access to Our Courts to Meet April 22

PIERRE, S.D.—The South Dakota Commission on Equal Access to Our Courts will meet virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 10 a.m. CDT.

The Commission, which is authorized by SDCL 16-2-55, provides grants to nonprofit entities that are funded, or nonprofit entities contracting with nonprofit entities that are funded, by the Legal Services Corporation and deliver legal services to persons meeting income eligibility guidelines.

New business agenda items are a commission funding status update, status of current operations and previous grant awards update, July 2024 funds for East River Legal Services’ clarification request, review of grant submissions, and grant awards.
