PIERRE, S.D.—The South Dakota Commission on Equal Access to Our Courts will meet virtually via Microsoft Teams on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 10 a.m. CDT.

The Commission, which is authorized by SDCL 16-2-55, provides grants to nonprofit entities that are funded, or nonprofit entities contracting with nonprofit entities that are funded, by the Legal Services Corporation and deliver legal services to persons meeting income eligibility guidelines.
New business agenda items include a commission funding status update, status of current operations and previous grant awards update, director search for East River Legal Services (ERLS) and Dakota Plains Legal Services (DPLS), review of grant submissions, grant awards, election of officers and next meeting date.
